Hi guys! It's time for introductions. As you may guess (you smartie pants), I am a Londoner - born and bred and I suck at introducing myself. You know those terrible ice breakers you have to suffer through when you start a new class/ have a work conference? I'm the one who flops massively and all I can think about to say is that "I love chocolate". Yep, all I can whittle my life down to is that I have a sweet tooth (that is no means a feat when I'm pretty sure I inherited it from my mother). What an accomplishment. I bet you bungee jumpers and circus performers are jealous. Anyway here goes...
Five Fun Facts (in no particular order):
I love to travel: I get itchy feet whenever I stay in my home town for too long. I try to travel at every opportunity and I think my greatest accomplishment would be if I visited every country in the world.
I'm a bit arty farty: I don't mean in terms of seeing a blue circle on a canvas and being able to talk about how it reflects current society and the human form. I mean I really enjoy to draw (especially pencil portraits of people) and I try to paint whenever I can.
I'm a closet geek: Tetris? Super heroes? Anime? You have my attention.
I volunteer. A lot: I really enjoy volunteering. It's an easy way to get stuck into a variety of things and meet people you usually wouldn't have to opportunity to meet. I've volunteered at an orphanage in Cambodia, easy now, Miss World, Anime/Comic conventions (did I mention I am a bit of a geek?), Charities and Advice Centres. You can stop puking now.
And finally..
I have a sweet tooth: See how I worked around the "I love chocolate" thing? No? Me neither. But I do love chocolate and desserts (I really dislike sugar candy though). I'm basically the type of person who judges a restaurant by their dessert menu and would rather have chocolate cake with ice cream for lunch.
